Tata Power To Set Up EV Charging Points Across JP Infra In Mumbai

In accordance with the Maharashtra Government’s EV Policy, Tata Power and JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited have teamed up to install 60+ EV charging points throughout all of JP Infra’s projects, including JP North Garden City (North Euphoria, North Alexa, North Aviva, Codename Dream Home), North Barcelona, and North Imperia. These projects will offer residents end-to-end EV charging solutions.

Shubham Jain, Managing Director, JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited, said, “With a desire to embrace change, induce innovation and support the EV revolution, the collaboration with Tata Power will facilitate and strengthen India’s robust EV ecosystem. This initiative will allow us to further improve the quality of the lives of our residents smartly and sustainably by reducing carbon emissions and accelerating e-mobility adoption across our projects.”

Additionally, Tata Power also added that they have a collaboration with the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) of Maharashtra to establish more than 150 clean energy-powered charging stations in Mumbai and up to 5,000 EV charging stations in Maharashtra.

Customers may locate EV charging stations, charge EVs, and make payments online with the use of the smartphone app Tata Power EZ Charge. There have been used chargers of every imaginable type, including DC and AC chargers. Through several agreements, the company is pushing the development of the e-mobility infrastructure. The company has placed more than 23,50 public and semi-public charging sites in India, in addition to 18,500+ home chargers (for private usage) and more than 240+ electric bus charging points dispersed throughout more than 350 Indian cities.
