REIL Floats Tender for EV Charging Equipment of 50 kW, 100 kW

Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd (REIL) has invited bids / floats a tender for the supply of 286 CCS II EV charging equipment which has a minimum of 50kW of capacity and 59 CCS II EV charging equipment which has a minimum of 100 kW of capacity.

The last date for submitting the online bid is September 29, 2022, till 4:00 pm. Bids will be opened on September 30, 2022, at 4:00 pm.

This REIL EV charging equipment tender includes the scope of work in location survey, planning, supply, installation, commissioning, 3-year comprehensive onsite warranty maintenance, trial run, and training of charging stations. The estimated total cost of the tender is 28 crores. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 5000/- as a tender / Request for Proposal document fee. Also, each bidder will have to submit Rs. 51.83 Lakhs for CCS-II (min 50 kW) & Rs. 17.23 Lakhs for CCS-II (min 100 kW) as an earnest money deposit (EMD). The selected bidder will be required to submit 3% of the total value of the purchase order as performance security shall be submitted. EMD amount of the successful bidder will be adjusted against the security deposit amounting. The security deposit should be valid for 60 days beyond the date of completion of all contractual obligations.

The bidder should have experience of having completed the order of SITC of EV chargers and similar product(s) and their product should be in operation for at least one year; during the last 7 years ending the previous month of the date of bid submission should be either of the following: 

a) Three orders of SITC of EV chargers or a similar product(s) costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the total estimated value of the type of EV charging equipment (as per Annexure-XVI) 

or

b) Two orders of SITC of EV chargers or a similar product(s) costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the Total estimated value of the type of EV charging equipment (as per Annexure-XVI). 

or 

c) One order of SITC of EV chargers or a similar product(s) costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the total estimated value of the type of EV charging equipment (as per Annexure-XVI). 

The average annual turnover of the bidder should be 30% of the total estimated value of the type of EV charging equipment in the preceding three financial years. The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive.
