Pune’s Arenq Collaborates with Kerala Automobiles Ltd for EV Distribution, Batteries

Pune-based Arenq, which claims to be India’s fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of storage batteries, has announced that it has forged a long-term partnership with KAL (Kerala Automobiles Limited), the public sector automobile manufacturing company. The partnership will enable the supply of motors, motor controllers, and batteries for all their vehicles. Together, the firms will also look into research and development for new designs and product development. Arenq has forged a three-year association with KAL for the distribution of E-vehicles for Kerala and Maharashtra.

This is the first-ever partnership by Arenq directed towards supplying optimum batteries and bolstering the distribution of KAL’s E-vehicles.

Speaking on the brand collaboration, V G Anil, Head of Operations, ARENQ, said, “We are delighted to partner with Kerala Automobiles Limited, which has the potential to transform the automotive industry across the country. As of now, we are their E-vehicle distributor in Kerala and Maharashtra, and we will soon expand our footprint across India. This is our first-ever association, and we look forward to working together and taking our business to new heights.”
