Okinawa Autotech, an Indian manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, sold a record 17531 units in retail sales in October 2022 as a consequence of the robust demand from customers for its wide range of EV scooters. The sum of sales includes both high-speed and low-speed electric scooters from Okinawa Autotech.

The increased demand for electric scooters made by the company, including the Praisepro, IPraise+, Okhi-90, Ridge+, LITE, R30, and Dual, has boosted the business’s sales.

“Achieving the sales of 17,531 units of company’s electric scooters in October 2022 is not only a benchmark but also a source of great satisfaction for us. This historic achievement is proof of how much trust our customers have in the brand. Our top-notch technologies and after-sales services have been equally important. Following the pandemic, customer confidence has been improving, and we are optimistic that this sales momentum will continue in the months to come,” stated Jeetender Sharma, MD, and founder of Okinawa Autotech.

Earlier, Okinawa Autotech launched its mega factory in Karoli, Rajasthan. It was the most comprehensive unit and the first such attempt (first complete EV ecosystem as the company terms it ) made in the country by an electric two-wheeler company.

Additionally, Okinawa Autotech recalled 3,215 units of its Praise Pro Scooters voluntarily to fix any issues related to the battery in their EV. Okinawa became the first electric vehicle maker to have recalled its EVs in India for quality check.
