Okaya Bags Major Order from REIL; To Commission Over 200 EV Chargers

The company will be commissioning its multi standard EV chargers in all metro cities and major highways, starting from Delhi-Jaipur-Agra, Mumbai-Pune.

Country’s one of the leading brands in the battery and inverter manufacturing space, Okaya Power Group (OPG) has secured major contract from a mini-ratna PSU of the Government of India, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd (REIL).

As per the order win, the company will be supplying, installing and commissioning more than 200 multi standard electric vehicle (EV) chargers (122-150KW) (CCS2+CHAdeMO+Type-2AC), 10KW AC Slow chargers and 15KW DC fast chargers.

Moreover, the company will be commissioning its multi standard EV chargers in all metro cities and major highways, starting from Delhi-Jaipur-Agra, Mumbai-Pune.

Speaking on the order win, Anshul Gupta, Director of Okaya Power said that “we are enthralled to have received this prestigious contract from REIL which will further embolden our endeavors of driving a major revolution in electric mobility.”

Gupta further added that “we will be commissioning these chargers in all metro cities across India, besides highways specially Delhi-Jaipur-Agra, Mumbai-Pune etc. We are truly in high spirits to be able to support the Government in its mission of creating a sustainable Eco-system for Electric Vehicles in India.”

The company claimed that, its EV chargers are compatible with all internationally accepted standards and it’s research and development (R&D) division works round-the-clock to develop best-in-class product line.

Meanwhile, the company is committed to meet the fast emerging demand for both charging infrastructure as well as EV charging solutions on pan India basis.

It has already catapulted its capabilities to facilitate well laid out EV charging infrastructure in-line with its commitment to provide electric vehicle charging solutions keeping in mind the requirements of both existing and upcoming e-vehicles.
