SJVN Green Energy Floats 125 MW Solar Tender at Jamui, Bihar

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Green Energy has floated a tender for a 125 MW(AC) grid-connected solar PV power plant with the balance of the system package including three (03) years of comprehensive operation & maintenance at Jamui, Bihar.

The last date for submitting the bid for this 125 MW tender is January 17, 2023, at 01:00 pm, and bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 pm.

The scope of work of this SJVNGreen Energy 125 MW tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, erection, testing & commissioning. Scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) for 03 years of the entire SPP up to the delivery point, free of cost for the warranty period of 12 months from COD (Commercial Operation Declaration).

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10,000/- (+18% GST)as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 2.44 crore as an earnest money deposit.  

To procure this tender, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised the erection and commissioned of Balance of System of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 30 MWp or higher capacity out of which at least one plant should be of 10 MWp or higher capacity.

The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least three (3) months before the date of NIT.

Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be Rs. 71 crores from the last three financial years based on audited annual accounts. Capacity to have a cash flow amount /working capital of at least Rs. 31.25 Crore as evident from the Audited Balance sheet/equivalent Financial Statements of the immediately preceding Financial Year.

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year should be positive, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)

Earlier, SJVN Ltd.’s 75 MW Parasan Solar Power Project, Uttar Pradesh, achieved commercial operation, according to Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director. The installed capacity of SJVN is now 2091.5 MW.
